Topic of Contest: Are There Limits to Growth? Population, Consumption and the Environment
Sponsored By: Sierra Club Atlantic Chapter Population Committee
Who is Eligible? All NYS high school juniors and seniors enrolled in public, private, parochial and home schools
Format: The essay should be no more than 3 pages, double-spaced, and must be typed. (References can be an additional page)
Contest Deadline: All entries should be submitted via email by April 1, 2013
Prize Package and Winner: Three winners will be selected and announced on this website on April 30, 2013. Winners will be contacted by Sierra Club Atlantic Chapter Population Committee members via the email used to submit essay.
Awards: First Place: $500; Second Place: $200; Third Place: $100
Submitted essays must be original. One essay entry per person!
